Michael Jackson funeral tickets have been decided to be given free of charge, but only U.S. citizens will be able to apply for the tickets to attend the funeral of Michael Jackson. The funeral of the King of Pop ‘Michael Jackson’, who died at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009, has been decided to be held at L.A.’s Staples Center on July 7, 2009.

According to reports, the main event of Michael Jackson’s funeral has been decided to be held at L.A.’s Staples Center, which will be simulcast at a Nokia Theatre adjacent to the Staples Center in the same complex. The appliers have to undergo a lottery process to get the tickets. There are 17,500 as a total number of tickets available, out of which 11,000 are for Staples and the rest 6,500 for Nokia.

It appears that to obtain tickets to attend the event of Michael Jackson’s funeral, is really hard. It is sure that only U.S. citizens will have the rights to apply for obtaining tickets, while it is not sure whether Michael Jackson’s body will be at the event or not. However, the funeral will be totally a public memorial, as an unknown figure of Jackson’s fans is reportedly awaiting for tickets.
